Registration Instructions

Here’s how to register to join the Running for Innocence team for the GenesisHR Battlegreen 5K/10K:

1. Go to: https://runsignup.com/RaceGroups/93027/Groups/1754014 Click Join Team.
2. Under Registrant #1 at the top, fill in the Registration information. If you’ve participated in the GenesisHR Battlegreen Run before, you can click Sign In.
3. Next under Choose Your Event, choose from one of the 6 race options listed. Please disregard the different names given to each of the races.
   
   If you want to run, select one of the top 2 options. If you want to walk, select the 3rd or 4th option. The last 3 options are virtual races. The options are, in order of the page:
   • (Almost) 10k Run
   • 5K (3.1 miles) Run
   • 1.2 mile Walk
   • 5K (3.1 miles) Walk
   • VIRTUAL 10K (6.2 miles) Run/Walk
   • VIRTUAL 5K (3.1 miles) Run/Walk
   • VIRTUAL 1.2 mile Walk

3. Click Add Another Registrant if you’re registering more than one person, and repeat #1 and #2. 
4. Click “Yes” to answer “Would you like to join a team?” Click Continue.
5. Read the Waiver Agreement and check the box.
6. Select the Join an Existing Team tab at top right. Select Running for Innocence from the drop-down menu. Click Continue.
7. This page gives you two additional ways to support the Running for Innocence team:
   • Select the Team Fundraiser tab to search for and make a donation to the Running for Innocence fundraiser, in addition to your registration fee.
   • Click on the Become a Fundraiser button at right to set up a fundraiser as an individual, school or group for the Running for Innocence team. Be sure to fill out all the fields at the bottom, in order to create your own page that you can share with your network to ask for donations. The Running for Innocence team should already appear in the drop down.
   • Click Continue if you don’t want to donate or become a fundraiser.
8. Click Continue (unless you’d like to purchase a GenesisHR Battlegreen Run t-shirt – please note that this is not the same as the RFI team t-shirt). If you raise more than $100, you’ll receive a Running for Innocence team t-shirt at the event. Otherwise, you can purchase one there for $25.
9. Check the Enable box if you would like your race results emailed to you. Click Continue.
10. Enter Your Payment Information. The entire registration fee is donated to the Running for Innocence team.
